Stop Testing: Animals Have Voices Too!

Because animal experimentation has been a method used for a very long time, people don't believe that there can be alternatives to replace the traditional way of testing. Organizations such as the CAAT (Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing) provide funding to help promote different ways of testing.

The Three R's of alternatives: replacement, reduction and refinement. Replacement is what most people think of in replacing the animals. Reduction and refinement deal with reducing the number of animals used for studies and refining the techniques used to minimize pain.

The CAAT is based upon the principles of the 3R's in biomedical research, product safety testing and education. Education is the key to reducing animal testing. It may not be possible at the present time, but educating future generations plays a large role in reaching this goal. Look for products that say they do not test on animals. Don't support this sickly method! Animals feel pain the same way we do, but just because they can't talk doesn't mean that they don't have a voice. Stop the hurt.

  1. I agree with you on this topic. I think it cruel and unfair to the animals to just be tested on like that.

  2. I agree 100% with you on this topic, I think animal experimenting is a horrible thing to and it shouldn't be done. Animals didn't do anything to deserve to be experimented on.

  3. I agree too! It annoys me that people know that we are CAPIBLE of finding alternitives but do nothing about it. We are all part of the same kingdom in science so why treat other animals like this? It is cruel and wrong.
